Reliability Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with design, manufacturing and procurement organizations to ensure that our quality reliability and business goals are met.
- Develop the standard and customized process, assembly and final inspection documents. (This includes the planning of product realization documents.)
- Develop and implement design and manufacturing FMEA procedures to ensure that all company products are designed and manufactured to the highest possible quality.
- Perform risk assessments for design including similarity, DFR, FMEA, FTA, WCA, DOE, stress analysis, etc.
- Generate failure rate predictions, and maintain reliability database.
- Develop early design verification and qualification requirements for product platforms and product/process changes.
- Generate reliability reports for external release.
- Frequent customer interaction to address qualification, reliability, and occasionally quality issues.
- This position will be the resident expert for reliability methods and modeling. In this role you will lead a plant-wide effort to assure the reliability and performance of our capital equipment tools.
Requirements: - BS Degree in Engineering is required.
- 7 years of experience as a Reliability Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of engineering management experience
- CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) qualification is desired.
- Capital Equipment industry experience is a plus.
