Must have a strong background in semiconductor capital equipment development, design background of precision motion systems such as motion stages and vibration isolation
· Lead the work of engineers, technicians, consultants, vendors, and suppliers during the performance of contracts for delivery of sub-systems
· Develop process control plans and process flow diagrams to optimize for costs.
· Maintain the business unit configuration management system to insure that drawings are accurate and are maintained.
· Participate in high level customer interface, presentation, and proposal efforts
· Prepare and periodically review projects milestones and budgets
Education/Required Skills
· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering (emphasis on electro-mechanical systems) or 10+ years of relevant mechanical and systems development experience
· Experience with Metrology systems design, integration/debug tasks
· Background in airflow design and analysis
· Familiarity with design and operation of sensors and hardware interlocks
· Ability to size and select motors, drives, signal conditioning equipment, controllers and sensors
· Conducting FMEA and Failure analysis techniques for evaluating designs.
· Academic or working experience with Solidworks is a plus.
· Academic or working experience with some or all of the following programming tools: C/C++, HTML, .NET, SQL, VB, Database Software, PLC programming, and Pascal.
· Experience or proficiency with multiple operating systems also seen as an asset (Win95, WinNT, Unix, QNX, etc.)
· Proficiency with MS office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Meticulous, conscientious, analytical, objective-driven individual who is a quick learner.
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

· Basic knowledge of Motion control systems
· Experience with Fab specific automation systems such as wafer handlers, robots, end-effectors and Equipment front-end modules design and integration. integration
