Summary: Identify and trouble shoot to root cause the sources of variation in end of line product performance.
Accountabilities:
• Lead troubleshooting teams to identify root cause of end of line performance variation to the equipment level in a timely manner
• Support trouble shooting teams at satellite plants to reduce variation in product performance
• Troubleshoot cause of product performance differences between plants
• Design and execute engineering tests to identify causes of performance variation. Analyze and clearly communicate results of engineering tests
• Coordinate and interpret failure analysis measurements
• Collaborate with failure analysis, equipment design and controls engineering to develop and implement key process output measurements
• Define process specifications
• Define and implement process control systems including SPC
• Support new line start ups by providing training and troubleshooting expertise
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: BS in an Engineering of Science discipline.
Skills:
• MS Office
• MS Access
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting to root cause yield or product performance variation.
• Demonstrated expertise in wet chemical or roll coating processes
• Demonstrated proficiency in Design of Experiments
• Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting teams
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Ability to interface with process development and manufacturing engineering to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Understanding of and ability to interpret the results from analytical techniques such as SEM and various compositional analysis measurements
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis
• Understanding of semiconductor device physics
• Methodical / Disciplined approach to problem solving
