Systems Engineer, Administaff Client

Surfect Technologies is pioneering the development of advanced wafer electro deposition technology, critical for the Solar Cell Industry and Semiconductor packaging Industries. We are seeking a talented, motivated System Engineer to join our growing, dynamic team.

System Engineer

While reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the System Engineer will be responsible working with the engineering team on performing system design, as well as development and product verification testing on power, control systems, software, hardware and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement system control, software processes and tool optimization

Work with engineering to assemble and test prototype and production components and systems

Troubleshoot and repair equipment including development of control systems and feedback processes that meet semiconductor industrials standards

Program logic controllers and human machine interface software development

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant fore mentioned industry experience and experience in the development of control systems, feedback processes, metrology, software and hardware design interaction and optimization. Sound organization skills, ability to drive change in an individual contributor role and strong analytical skills along with the ability to determine how process control system will integrate with the overall manufacturing process required. The successful individual will possess the following skills, knowledge, experience and abilities:

 

Experience with NI system platforms, Lab View code utilizing PXI or RIO hardware

Willing to work in a fast pace environment

Experience with pneumatics, valves, control systems, electronics, electrical systems, computers, calibration, process piping and other manufacturing equipment

Strong analytical skills and ability to determine how a proposed information system will integrate with overall manufacturing processes

Proven ability to work with small teams in a multi-tasking environment

Software development planning, testing and configuration

Understanding of MES and WIP tracking concepts

Strong hands-on skills with factory automation systems and equipment data acquisitions

Experience developing and supporting applications in a manufacturing environment

Background in the semiconductor industry, focusing on manufacturing equipment electrical and software design

Highly motivated individual with noted experience in semiconductor wet chemistry processing and wafer fab manufacturing equipment
