1. Title Wet Chemistry Senior Process Engineer
2. Location USA - Midwest
3. Purpose Technical leadership of the in-line Photovoltaic (PV) front end of line (FEOL) wet chemistry process research, evaluation, development, and deployment as they relate to the company strategic direction.
4. Scope Responsible for development and continuous improvement of the wet chemistry processes and ensuring they are compatible with the phosphorous doping and diffusion process for the PV in-line FEOL.
5. Accountabilities Development and deployment of marketable, in-line PV FEOL wet chemistry processes. Continuous improvement of the PV FEOL wet chemistry processes. Coordination with the Diffusion Processing Engineers to optimize the overall in-line FEOL processing.
6. Duties & responsibilities Ensure all wet chemistry process development efforts are properly coordinated and driven to meet scheduling and cost milestones. Research, evaluation, and development of the PV FEOL wet chemistry processes. Engineering based continuous improvement of the PV FEOL wet chemistry processes based on market need and direction. Characterize and optimize the wet etch and wet cleaning processes. Develop specifications and recommendations on metrology tools required. Ensuring all wet chemistry practices are completed in a safe manner, all other personnel involved are aware of occupational hazards, and safety precautions are in place. Use statistical process control and design of experiment techniques to prove out processes and methodologies. Effective communications on plans, actions, and progress to supervisor. Effective oral and written communications including technical reports. Effective interaction with customers, research institutes, internal employees, and others as required to ensure all wet chemistry process development is leading edge.
7. Required:S/MS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or Materials Science
8. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of semiconductor and/or photovoltaic silicon based wet chemical processing technology
9. Skills:Broad knowledge and understanding of the principles, practices and techniques involved in wet process engineering and design. Demonstrated expertise in Statistical Process Control tools and techniques. Experienced in silicon surface characterization, etching and conditioning technology. Strong knowledge of appropriate silicon metrology alternatives. Previous analytical laboratory experience desired.Please send resume in word document
