The Analogue Mixed signal and Power Division within Freescale centers on high performance analogue solutions for the automotive, industrial and consumer electronic industries. AMPD Europe's design center is based in Toulouse, France and is chartered with developing "Smartpower IC" solutions at large level of integration for various analog mixed signal and power applications. It regroups a team of more than 40 people with confirmed experiences in analogue and mixed-signal conception.

Within a project team of 3 to 8 designers, you are responsible for transistor level analogue IC design for the most famous car manufacturers and equipment suppliers having their own culture. You are in charge of translating a specification into an electrical schematic by using existing components of the technology (MOS, bipolar, resistors, capacitors...). You work closely with our customers to found the best compromise of conception all along the project from the definition of the specification to the presentation of the technical solutions to the customer. You build his schematic, then simulates it against all sources of variations. You validate the layout of your circuit. Once the first prototype is available, you measure the performance, support it during the qualification phases  and redesign until the product fits the application.
