The following skills and experience are essential to this position: -
• Energy management and experience of Building Energy Management controls and systems.
• Project management.
• Cleanroom control.
• Preparation of specifications to meet UK and Company standards.
• Issuing of Work permits
• Ability to identify and remove single points of fail to improve effective plant reliability.
• Commissioning and handover of mechanical systems to Maintenance Group
• Safety and Environmental considerations.
• Experience of SAP, AutoCAD and popular software.
Have cross-functional knowledge on the following systems also:
Heating and air conditioning; refrigeration; steam and hot water; vacuum; process cooling water systems; extract systems; compressed air; effluent and waste treatment; sprinkler systems, ensure full compliance with environmental Health and Safety legislation relating to plant systems and machinery.
You will receive day-to-day guidance from the Site Services Manager and necessary training on existing and new systems. You will be expected to deal with problem situations as they occur. You will be expected to communicate with engineers, managers and external vendors to resolve problems and to provide guidance to less experienced maintenance technicians.
Qualifications/Experience
Ideally, you will have a good degree in building services or mechanical engineering, supported by at least 5 years experience of mechanical engineering in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment.

In this position you will work a 40 hour week, 08:30-17:00, Monday - Friday. It will offer the following benefits: annual holiday entitlement will be 29 days, plus 4 statutory days.
