Sales Operation Manager, Applied Materials

Responsibilities:
Reports to SBG Operations through the Xi'an Operations and Engineering Head.
Develops Xi'an operations business and development plan and oversees from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes and resources. Ensures objectives are clearly defined and agreed to across the PBG.
Responsible for managing schedules and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, etc. 
Manages direct and allocated resources from other organizations to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives from an operations responsibility. 
Demonstrate excellent budget management, cost control, and P&L understanding. 
Manages material cost reduction schedule of equipment for internal and external customers and suppliers worldwide. Manages operations support for PBG initiatives in local equipment sourcing, contract manufacturing, quality and reliability. Manages manufacturing engineering resources in support of development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation and manufacturing support of Asia suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various programs/issues. (i.e. Integrate to Order, etc.)
Identifies and resolves issues / inter-dependencies between Business Management, Supply Chain, Product division in SCLA, Quality & Reliability and Operations for China operations. Develops solutions for resolution with root cause. Escalation point of contact for China solar operations group.
Manages direct and matrix employees; contributes to effective performance management, employee development and retention.
Interface for facilities, IS&T and infrastructure planning.
Customer focused, understands customer’s needs and can respond to operations related issues / escalations such as delivery, supplier performance, and Quality & Reliability.

Requirements:
B.S. level degree in a related engineering discipline or an MBA
10+ years related experience to include 5+ years demonstrated supervisory / leadership experience.
Demonstrated success in organizing and managing multiple programs/projects with successful results.
