Basic Job Function:

Manage and participate in a small team responsible for: plant replication master schedule and planning; oversight of building design, mechanical, electrical and process systems; along with automated conveyance and support equipment for the production of thin film solar modules. Coordinate efforts with 3 other teams responsible for different areas in replicating thin film solar module factories worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

Driving continuous improvement in all aspects of team responsibilities

Daily management of small team of engineers dedicated to; coordinating efforts of an international design-build construction company, equipment hook up contractor, automation equipment connecting the entire production line and ancillary equipment used off-line to support production.

• Provide strategic direction for team through goal setting and adherence to company goals, objectives and core values.

• Critical Chain Project planning to manage the overall schedule and events from factory groundbreaking through full scale production ramp.

• Interface with Design Build Contractor from design through turn over of the facility.

• Participating in design reviews and approving the design of building and building systems.

• Oversee configuration control of building and equipment to assure Copy Smart strategy.

• Coordination of equipment improvements involving modifications across all factories worldwide.

Effective communication and team building across all organizations.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 7 years managing technical workforce with progressively increasing responsibilities

Minimum of 10 years experience in an engineering discipline

Proven experience in

•  leading by example, coaching and mentoring other engineers
•  project planning and controls.
•  managing multiple concurrent projects under tight schedules.
•  leading multimillion dollar projects in domestic and foreign factory settings.
