Responsibilities:
- Responsible for purchasing AGS & Applied Materials’ materials and components to include ensuring the timely performance of suppliers, to meet the needs of internal and external customers
- Quotes materials at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
- Expedites and ensures the timely receipt of materials
- Works with SCM to analyze proposals
- Data integrity: Adjusts purchase orders in a timely mannerby verifying delivery, approving payment, and maintains necessary records by executing and canceling orders doing pull ins, push outs of planned orders as prioritized
- Follows purchasing business processes
- Reviews and ensures actions per disposition of ECOs
- Maintains inventory levels per plan and performs E&Z analysis
PREREQUISITES:
- BS level or equivalent degree in purchasing,
- 5+ years experience in purchasing/Spares/logistics,
- English language skills,
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interface skills,
- Must be able to perform assignments with little or no supervision,
- May determine methods and procedures on existing and new assignments,
- Excellent analytical skills
