Experience:
* Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience working in strategic sourcing; construction industry procurement, crafting contractual terms and conditions
* 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience
* Strong experience with contract negotiations
Education:
* BS Degree in either a technical or business discipline is required

* Proven analytical and quantitative skills
* Previous research, modeling and financial analysis experience
* Self-starter with strong knowledge of business fundamentals
* Experience as an individual and group contributor for complex problems
* Demonstrates organizational and project management skills

* Full knowledge of, tax issues, contract laws and risk management
* Thorough understanding of supply chain concepts, theories and best practices
* Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with exceptional negotiations experience
* Advanced skills with MS Suite
* Superior communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lead and influence others in a team-oriented environment
* Procurement practises conforming to public goverance (Sarbanes- Oxley)
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
* Globally source all direct and indirect materials and services as assigned, developing new methods of procurement when necessary.
* Negotiate labor subcontracts throughout North America
* Research and qualify vendors and subcontractors to mitigate risk
* Prepare opportunity analysis identifying projects to deliver significant cost savings and value improvement to the company
* Lead cross-functional teams providing assessment of opportunities and supply markets
* Manage supplier relations while expanding the reach of the company�s supplier diversity efforts
* Serve as liaison between the company and strategic vendors, ensure that all aspects of the sourcing function are performed in a legal, ethical and prudent manner providing documentation of the decision process in accordance with standard audit practices when necessary
* Manage the formulation and negotiation of agreements with suppliers that provide the best total cost of ownership for the company while minimizing potential legal, financial, tax and risk management liabilities
* Recommend and implement opportunities for procurement solutions
* Manage procurement staff including hiring, training, directing work, job performance appraisals, mentoring etc.
