The Field Marketing Engineer position will be reporting to the EMEA Field Marketing Manager.
Being part of the EMEA GTM (Go-To-Market) Consumer and Industrial organization the Field Marketing Team is acting close to the final target customers/markets understanding and anticipating future technical needs.

Responsibility of the Team is also to monitor competition landscape, identifying gaps in Freescale roadmap as well as price disconnection. The inputs coming from the Field are used to drive future NPP (New Product Proposal) and effective price positioning.

In this role the Field Marketing Engineer is also responsible to secure growth into the selected market/customers supporting in the Field Design In Activity.

The measurement of the success in this position is given by the Design In Growth, Customer Feed-Back and number of succesful NPI (New Product Introduction) driven with inputs/support of the Team.

The Role

The position will be located in Munich.

The responsibilities of the Field Marketing Engineer
position can be summarized in two main area:
- Provide market inputs on technical requirement for supporting actual and future needs on key customers and key markets. These inputs must be consolidate with a proper Market analysis which can justify ROI (Return of Investments) and real benefit for the portfolio growth.
- Support organic growth of the Business, directly engaging final customers/distributors in coordination with Sales Team. The measurement of this activity will be using yearly DW (Design Win) number.

The position requires frequent travels across Germany and Central Europe. It�s required high level of flexibility as well as not obstacles to stay out of home overnight.

In this position the Field Marketing Engineer will also have to coordinate specific customer initiative (in site workshops, meetings or crisis management). A high level of accountability is required.

Acting in a remote Team the Field Marketing Engineer must provide a constant level of reporting of his activity through weekly reports and by attending the monthly Opportunity Reviews.

Your Profile

For this position a Master Degree in Electronical Engineering is required .

Fluent German and English Language are required.

The candidate should have 5-10 years working experience in one of the following roles:

• 
  FAE (Field Application Engineer) or Technical Marketing Engineer with a semiconductor supplier or semiconductor distributor.
• 
  Electronic Designer in Consumer or Industrial Companies.
• The candidate must prove knowledge of Industrial and Consumer Market.

Being in constant contact with final customers the candidate must demonstrate attitude to easily establish and maintain relationships at mid and high level. Commercial skill are also strongly required.

The candidate must have car drive licence.
