Position Summary
- Manage field service engineer to support customer.
- Manage customer’s expectation in equipment performance.
- Follow up field service issue & coordinate solution.
- Technical support to sales in system, service, and other CPS products.
- Manage system installation and warranty resource planning.
- Pressure of Making Decision: Occasionally must make rapid decisions.
- About 50% of the job is comprised of related tasks and the other half of unrelated tasks.
- Interruptions can occur about 40% of time, and may significantly interfere with job performance.
- Work flow is considered above the typical level of these kinds of jobs.
- Innovation & Initiative: Some originating and planning of work required.
- Tasks follow generally standards or procedures.
- General supervision available if needed, but worker is expected to work out problems for the specific area under the general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Resource planning and CE&PSE management.
- Field/Product issue management.
- Sales support.
- I&W management.
- Customer interface.
- Control system installation project regarding technical support and group manpower arrangement.
- Monitor/improve installed bases performance (within or out of warranty) as group leader.
- On site technical support and conducting customer meetings.
Required Knowledge & Education
- Above bachelor degree or equivalent, majored in automation, physics, electronics, chemistry.
- 3~7 years experience of the relevant job field required (considerably matured professional skill required).
