MES Engineer , Applied Materials

Responsibilities

  • Install and test Applied Materials’ factory automation solution for solar at the customer sites.
  • Work with the end users closed to understand customer’s manufacturing process issues related to using Applied Materials’ factory automation software.
  • Duplicate problem issues and troubleshoot issues.
  • Communicate with the second line support team and the development team on issues.
  • Install and qualify the solution changes delivered by the development team.
  • Analyze, design and implement customer required enhancements according to specification.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge).
  • Some Experience with semiconductor manufacturing or software.
  • Skills and abilities to perform job include: good analytical skills; good oral and written communication skills; good problem solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to work in a team; basic ability to work independently.
  • Good technology knowledge such as: C++, Oracle, Microsoft COM+ programming, Visual Basic, VS.Net, C#.
  • Good communication in English.
  • Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge), and 1-3 years directly related experience.
  • Preferred previous work experience includes: customer support in software related fields, software development or deployment work.
