Responsibilities

• Developing and assuring of marketable technologies and product improvements in the Solar division
• Performing process start up for our equipment (inhouse as well as on customer sites) in time and in line with business and quality policies
• Reporting to the manager R & D and case to case also to higher level (VP Solar …)
• Setting up presentations, publications and patent applications; participation in conferences and workshops
• Technical expertise support of sales and product management in negotiations and discussions with customers and suppliers
• Doing risk assessments with respect to solar technologies
• Implementation and compliance with quality management policies

Required Knowledge & Education

• University degree in physics or similar (or adequate knowledge and experience), PhD would be a plus
• Profound knowledge of photovoltaic
• 
  Experience with thin film technology, especially PECVD
• Good communication skills
• Very good English
• Flexibility and sensitivity in cooperation with internal and external partners
• Intercultural skills
• Basic knowledge of economical business requirements
• IT knowledge – MS-Office and preferably SAP
• Willingness for frequent business travel worldwide and to work under time constraints
