Responsibilities
- Developing and assuring of marketable technologies and product improvements in the Solar division
- Performing process start up for our equipment (inhouse as well as on customer sites) in time and in line with business and quality policies
- Reporting to the manager R & D and case to case also to higher level (VP Solar …)
- Setting up presentations, publications and patent applications; participation in conferences and workshops
- Technical expertise support of sales and product management in negotiations and discussions with customers and suppliers
- Doing risk assessments with respect to solar technologies
- Implementation and compliance with quality management policies
Required Knowledge & Education
- University degree in physics or similar (or adequate knowledge and experience), PhD would be a plus
- Profound knowledge of photovoltaic
Experience with thin film technology, especially PECVD- Good communication skills
- Very good English
- Flexibility and sensitivity in cooperation with internal and external partners
- Intercultural skills
- Basic knowledge of economical business requirements
- IT knowledge – MS-Office and preferably SAP
- Willingness for frequent business travel worldwide and to work under time constraints
