Senior Reliability Engineer, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities
Duties: The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing all, or part, of the reliability related activities associated with the product(s) he/she is assigned. Job duties will include:
1. Participate in the creation and execution of the product reliability development process
2. Product reliability activity planning, tracking and reporting.
3. Participating and contribute to design reviews. Focusing primarily on design for reliability
4. Develop and maintain the product system/subsystem reliability allocation model
5. Development of reliability test plans
6. Test fixture setup, reliability test execution, failure analysis, design revision and reliability test reporting.
7. Preparing and presenting all relevant product reliability information to upper management.
8. Coordinating and driving root-cause investigations and reliability improvements as reliability issues arise.
Qualifications
Musts:
1. MSME/EE/Physics/Systems Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline with a background in design and/or development engineering.
2. 10+ years experience in Reliability/Design Verification /Subsystem qualification and/or system/subsystem integration
3. 3+ years experience in Semiconductor industry can be helpful
4. Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
5. Familiar with Reliability techniques such as Allocation modeling, FMECA, FTA, Reliability growth modeling and statistical analysis
6. Hands on experience with test fixture setup and accelerated component life testing (HALT/HASS, IRONMAN/Marathon testing), or hands on experience performing system and/or subsystem integration.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multifunctional teams.
8. Experienced in working with design teams involving electromechanical, opto-mechanical designs, or Electro mechanical designs.
9. Act as a project leader. Efficient at getting job done.
