Senior Software Algorithm Engineer, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join a team of algorithm and software engineers to develop advanced algorithm used in inspection system in KLA-Tencor.
The candidate will work on detection algorithms and should have strong background on image processing. Capability of investigate, develope inovative image processing algorithm with superior performance is the key for successful candidate. The candidates will work closely with a team of algorithm, system, software and application engineers to identify the problem and its solution. He or she should be willing and comfortable to work in a team environment, be innovative and passionate to the assignments. An ideal candidate is someone who also has background in physics, and semiconductor wafer processing.
Responsibility includes algorithm investigation, prototyping, specification, documentation, implementation, testing, as well as characterization.
Qualifications
- MS in EE, applied physics, or computer science is minimum.
- PhD is preferred.
- Image processing background/experience is a must
- Must proficient in C++/OOP.
- Problem solving and analysis ability are essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
- Good teamwork skills required.
- Quick learner is highly desired
- Physics background is a plus
