Financial Analyst, KLA Tencor
Job Description
The Order/Revenue Financial Analyst for the WIN Division will support the Division Controller, General Manager, and other senior sales and marketing staff in deal structure, trade-in/swap analysis, rent vs. buy decisions, manufacturing planning, revenue recognition, and deal profitability analysis. This individual will represent finance in interacting with division sales on customer deal strategies, tool consignment plans, revenue recognition, resolving accounts receivable aging issues, work closely with corporate revenue group on statutory compliance and work with group revenue driver, sales, service, and engineering staff to track and manage risk and product mix in the revenue plan to hit company targets while optimizing gross margin. This position will also represent finance with the DYS software group, providing planning, analysis, and revenue recognition support for the software product lines. Additional responsibilities include maintaining product gross margin models, preparing for executive and strategic planning reviews, long term mix and margin modeling, board presentations, and various ad-hoc market/economic analyses as appropriate.

This individual must have strong analytics, be results-oriented, able to thrive in changing fast paced environments and possess solid balanced judgment in assessing assets and liabilities for the company. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly/proactively develop both creative and pragmatic solutions for the operating challenges inherent with KLA-Tencor?s fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Strong analytical and communication skills, and a results-driven work style are necessary. Additional mandatory skills sets include the ability to business partner with senior level management, strong financial, cost accounting and modeling skills (Excel/TM1/SAP), and the aptitude to perform detail orientation/audit work as well as summary analyses
