Software Engineer, KLA Tencor
Job Description
Works with a software design team to develop and debug user-interface and database features on semiconductor metrology equipments.
Contribute to the design for the existing and next generation software development platform and systems.
Develops and tests software applications for enhancements. Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. WOrk closely with the QA team to verify software implementations and deliver quality software to both internal and external customers.
This position normally receives general instructions on routine work, detalied instructions on new projects or assignments.
Qualifications/Education Desired
Familiar with or experienced in developing software under Windows XP using Visual C++, MFC, COM, and STL.
Working experience on GUI development using MFC a plus.
Knowledge on MS Access and/or SQL.
Knowledgable on distributed computing using CORBA.
