Designer, KLA Tencor
This position will work closely with design engineers and manufacturing. Generate, incorporate engineering change orders (ECO's) into existing and next generation wafer inspection product lines. Assist Engineers in preparing detailed drawings, prototype material, assembly, training, installation drawings, pro-process document and procedures. Design and release toolings to support Manufacturing. Assist in outsourcing of subassemlies to various contact manufacturing vendors. A demonstrated capability and proficiency in operating Pro-Engineer Wildfire 3.0 and Pro-Intralink software. Proficient in working with large assemblies in Pro-Engineer and detail drawings. Mechanical Designer with 5 years of ProE modeling/drafting experience. Pro/Process experience is preferred. Thorough knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Capable of interfacing with manufacturing and vendors as required Knowledge of standard machining practices. Proficient with MS-office applications.
AA degree or 2 years certificate from engineering, trade, or technical training institution and five years experience in mechanical design. Must be familiar with general engineering drawing practices and GD&T. Familiarity with ProE software or equivalent cad tool. Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
