Supply chain Specialist , KLA Tencor
Responsibilities
-Lead and manage complex sourcing initiatives:
-Engage with internal stakeholders and constituents to develop sourcing strategy, RFP, and SOW.
-Negotiate supplier contracts using standard and non-standard agreements; in conjunction with internal client & legal.
-Develop and deploy supplier management plan.
-Cross-functional sourcing and supplier management responsibility in a variety of commodities, to include: Facilities services, IT services, Travel commodities, software, Marketing services, etc.
-Analyze KT indirect commodity spend both domestically and internationally against market analysis; identify areas for spend aggregation, contract coverage, and spend under management.
-Manage complex supplier issues to meet client business objectives.
-Evaluate KT Procurement processes and develop best known methods. This may include process re-engineering and/or eCommerce solutions.
-Direct responsibility for oversight of the offshore tactical purchasing organization. Responsible for employee screening, training, overseeing daily operations, process improvement, scope expansion, and problem resolution.
-Program management responsibility will include: Offshore Procurement Center, Corp Procurement Card Program, MRO Commodity Ownership, eCommerce Solution Initiative.
Qualifications
-Strong negotiation and contract management experience
-Extensive knowledge of business, sourcing, purchasing and demonstrated supplier management acumen.
-Demonstrated success in leading project teams to achieve quantifiable business objectives.
-Strong interpersonal skills to include: oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate others and facilitate team building, ability to engage multiple levels of management and international cultures.
-Good analytical skills and ability to work with complex data and information.
-Understanding of eCommerce technology practices and trends.
-PC Proficiency in Microsoft applications: strong in Excel, medium in PowerPoint & Word.
-BS degree with minimum 7 years of experience of increasing responsibility for procurement/operations management.
-3-5 years of management & strategic sourcing experience.
-MBA or graduate degree preferred.
-SAP experience a plus
-CPM, CPIM certification a plus.
