Global Mobility HR Intern , KLA Tencor

Responsibilities
Working in the Global Talent Management group, the HR Global Mobility Intern would assist with day-to-day immigration and relocation activities and specific special projects supporting the company�s need to hire and maintain foreign national talent.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support company�s green card program recruitment requirements
- Respond to inquiries from employees and managers regarding immigration and relocation
- File immigration and relocation documentation and maintain HRTS date entry for non-immigrants
- Maintain public access files and legally required posting notices
- Initiate Immigration and Relocation cases utilizing vendor�s online system
- Monitor of new immigration/relocation cases as well as ensuring visa extensions are initiated on time
- Review and update I-9�s & provide training to other HR professionals, as needed
- Create quarterly Immigration Newsletter
- Develop process and make process improvement recommendations
- Opportunity to become involved in projects outside global mobility to gain knowledge and hands on experience in other HR disciplines such as Professional Recruitment, University Relations, Systems, Affirmative Action and Compliance.
Qualifications
Successful candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate program - preferably Business (HR Concentration) or Organization Development major. Candidate should be in their sophomore or junior year, and be able to work from 25 to 40 hours a week during office hours (Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm) This is a paid internship and the duration is 12+ months. Individual should have good planning, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
