Intergration Engineer, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, the Integration Engineer is responsible for a variety of semi-routine tasks to perform component installation for final assembly of instruments and implementation of engineering testing methods in the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and installation Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT).
Perform system troubleshooting and repair.
Recognize failures and set-up problems
Complete log books, system test summaries, and other machine documentation.
Ensure on time delivery of customer products
Solve performance issues independently in a timely manner.
Perform customer final acceptance tests and instrument sign offs.
Help to establish test procedures.
Perform final testing of top level assemblies.
Attention to detail and good shop practices are a must.
Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Prepare written reports.
Work with engineering to support development of new products and projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor�s Degree (B.S./B.A./M.S./Ph.D.), preferably in a scientific / technical discipline (mechanical, automation, manufacturing engineering, testing engineering, etc.).
Minimum of 6 years of working experience in manufacturing development.
DOE and Process excellence training is desired. Six sigma training is a plus.
Proven track record in process development and improvement, including identifying
improvement needs, developing actionable plans, and implementing process changes.
