Product Marketing Manager, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities
This position occupies the key business role within KLA-Tencor's GEM Small Systems business. Small Systems represent a portfolio of desktop metrology products currently in use in a variety of industries including
data storage, high-precision optics, general purpose optics, and tribology. The metrics of success for the Product Manager are top-line growth and overall profitability of the business.
This position is responsible for determining and driving the overall direction of GEM Group's Small Systems business. Strategic activities include analysis of broad market spaces and competitive assessments to create differentiation strategies that ultimately lead to growth in sales and profitability. Tactics may include product positioning, development resource allocation, channel management, and partnering, with a strong emphasis on guiding our sales channel.
Qualifications
The person occupying this position must possess strong business acumen and the ability to influence an organization. Strong market and technical understanding is required to develop sound growth strategies and align the organization around those strategies.
