Sr. Opto-Mechanical Engineer , KLA Tencor
Responsibilities: Senior mechanical design engineer responsible for design of opto-mechanical systems, precision mechanisms, and tooling for next generation optical wafer inspection tools. Will be responsible for determining root causes and providing analytical solutions to system issue. Will be responsible for complete design process, from requirements specification to analysis, mechanical design using ProE, integration, testing and handoff to manufacturing. Responsible for leading subsystem team.
Qualifications
Candidate should have analytical skills to consider impact of designs at a system level, and communication skills to interact with other engineering groups.
Must be proficient with solid CAD, ProEngineer skill strongly preferred.
Should have experience in thermal or structural analysis and modeling.
Desirable to have experience in following areas: Design of semiconductor equipment or similar instruments, precision mechanisms, opto-mechanics, optics alignment, vibration, heat transfer, flow modeling, instrumentation
Project management skill is a plus.
