Software Engineer, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities: This is a Software development opportunity involving design, implementation, and test of software features & tools to support & expand Offline inspection systems for RAPID 5XX and 6XX products. Development work will include taking requirements and implementing features/scripts/tools for a framework that manages simulated equipment inspection runs. One primary goal is to build a completely automated SW regression est environment. Most software to be developed using C/C++, shell & perl scripts on Solaris and on Linux platforms. Candidate must have experience working with installing, rebuilding, customizing linux kernels. Candidate must have experience doing full development cycle from definining requirements, documenting designs, coding, and in performing thorough unit, integration and system level testing.
Qualifications
- Experience working with large code bases and with complex system software.
- Experience in script languages such as perl, Tcl, web
- Experience working with, evaluating, rebuilding various flavors of linux
- Experience doing server and/or disk-array performance benchmarking
- Experience working with RAIDs or disk-arrays.
- Some semiconductor equipment experience/knowledge
