Software Engineer, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities: This is a Software development opportunity involving design, implementation, and test of software features for a high-speed computing system used on RAPID products. Development includes features for I/O interface, job management, system monitoring, and diagnostics. Some features will also be developed for expanding an automated test framework. All software to be developed using C/C++, shell & perl scripts on Solaris 8/9/10 and on Linux platforms.
Candidate must have knowledge in the full development cycle from definining requirements, documenting designs, coding, and in performing thorough unit, integration and system level testing.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of working with very large code bases (>1M lines) and with complex system software.
- Knowledge/some experience using script languages such as perl, Tcl, web
- Knoweldge of evaluating, rebuilding alternative linux OSs.
