Manufacturing Design Engineer Manager, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will Lead the Manufacturing Engineering Team supporting sustaining activities within Production Operations to include new product introduction activities. This candidate will develop and manage the transition of the Teams focus and direction. This Team will adopt, implement and develop processes supporting the requirements necessary for the revolutionary change towards Advanced Manufacturing within the Business Unit.
This position is key in defining and developing the revolutionary Advanced Manufacturing strategies necessary for our Operations Business to succeed moving forward. Our Business is global as defined by our Customer base and the geographical locations of where our products are used. The globalization of our Manufacturing Operations is strategic and how we partner with our KLA-Tencor business partners internationally to achieve this strategy is key.
The successful candidate will be expected, as a Senior member of the Management Team, to influence and implement the Advanced Manufacturing strategy across the Organization. Once implemented, the Advanced Manufacturing strategy will improve Operational performance, contribute to higher profitability, operational flexibility and Customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Demonstrated strong Leadership, Technical and Organizational technical team development skills. Proven track record Managing Technical Organizations including the hiring of key personnel across all technical disciplines.
Demonstrated capabilities Managing technical organizations in high rate of change environments successfully.
