Software Engineer, KLA Tencor
Responsibilities: Develop and optimize algorithms for a complex electron-beam imaging system for semiconductor quality control applications. Research, design, model, prototype, document, implement algorithms. Validate algorithm performance. Strong system-oriented approach to problem solving is required.
Work collaboratively with other groups/engineers within the organization to understand various aspects of problems, and deliver solutions that work at the system level on time. Work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in computer science and/or mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years experience in image processing/analysis algorithms for commercial products.
- Proficient in C++, Java, and algorithm-centric tools such as Matlab.
- Proficient in object oriented analysis, design and programming.
- Significant experience in code optimization for real-time systems.
- Results oriented, delivers products to crisp measurable milestones.
- Proficient with product development lifecycle, analysis through maintenance.
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal skills, communicates clearly and concisely.
- Motivated, hands-on, and self-directed.
- Semiconductor industry experience highly desirable
