· University degree in business or equivalent education and experience
· Experience in international purchasing
· Good knowledge of supply chain management
· Knowledge of contract laws
· Analytical and goal oriented approach
· Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
· Very good English skills

Responsibilities for the Purchaser role include:
- Independent leadership of negotiations with suppliers and contractors
- Optimize purchasing and logistics processes
- Supervision of purchasing in close cooperation with technical department
- Optimize procurement costs
- Create purchasing controls and schedule material costs
- Design and develop performance criteria on which to measure suppliers
- Compilation of market analysis and bench marks
- Analysis and development of new markets
- Assess and develop suppliers
