Education Requirements: BA/BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Microelectronic, or Industrial Engineering or Physics. Experience Requirements: 10 to 15 years in Equipment Engineering environment. Experience in equipment speed and reliability improvements. Diverse career path backgrounds (different departments/companies/industries). Willingness to travel. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Job Responsibilities:
- Improve intrinsic equipment efficiency and reliability of a defined equipment set within the Qimonda Fab cluster.
- Best-of-Best tool performance
- Populate and conduct Golden Tool Method.
- Match equipment parameter against supplier productivity figures (BKM).
- Check IEE regularly to maintain best level.
- Monitor and check system constants regularly to maintain best level.
- Projects - specifically on IEE
- Lead cross-functional work teams and meetings.
- Conduct Cost Benefit Analysis of state-of-the-art productivity upgrades of equipment suppliers.
- Start and drive projects focusing on extending throughput and IEE.
- Optimize equipment configurations regarding throughput and IEE.
- Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications.
- Identify and evaluate alternative parts suppliers with regard to IEE and reliability.
- Methods + Training
- Provide IEE training to maintenance community on a regular basis.
- Provide methods to support continuous \'\'best-can-do\'\' equipment performance.
- Ram Improvement and SMCom Teamspeaker
- Act as Team Speaker for respective SMCom subgroup.
- Resolve root causes and recurring issues.
- Drive RAM activities with OEMs (also at their HQs).
- Influence Next Generation Equipment/upcoming Target Tools w/r/t RAM
