Director of Finance / Controller, Qimonda North America
The Richmond, VA location of Qimonda is seeking a dynamic Finance Director to plan and direct all aspects of the Richmond Finance department. Responsibilities/ Tasks: - Responsible for the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Closing process for QR and the preparation of financial statements to Qimonda AG in accordance with Qimonda/IFX Accounting Manual, GAAP and future IFRS - Analyze financial data for trends, opportunities and weaknesses. - Develop and implement goals, priorities, policies and procedures relating to financial accounting , controlling and forecasting - Responsible for the managing of Payroll Department and all its processes - Responsible for the managing of Travel Department and all its processes - Responsible for the managing of the Accounts Payable department including its processes. - Establish system and administrative Internal controls; develop procedures to improve existing systems - Coordinate and support the corporation with external auditors KPMG and ensure clean internal and external audits. - Review, analyze and interpret financial and budgetary reports and communicate findings to the CFO NA and Managing director of QR - Supervise the preparation of monthly reports to QAG Corporate Finance - Support all internal and external benchmarking activities - Develop, support and implement cost reduction measures at QR - Support the CFO and managing Director to conduct and execute special projects - Develop positive working relationships with QAG and all its subsidiaries - Hire, train supervise and develop a staff of employees performing financial accounting, cost and SOX related activities. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Accounting with a minimum of 15 years financial accounting experience - CPA required, MBA optional - Must have strong interpersonal skills , strong PC skills including Microsoft suite - Working knowledge of SAP a must
