Product Engineer - Design Analysis & Characterization, Qimonda North America

Product Engineer Design Analysis & Characterization DESCRIPTION: Analyze and characterize initial hardware of new low power DRAM products (1st silicon) Feedback results to designers and progress in close cooperation with the design team to evaluate all circuits and the full functionality of the respective product. Explore all functional corners of the product. Verify test modes, Burn-In, all possible product configurations, fuses etc. Evaluate performance envelope of new products (max. speed, process window hardware). Support failure analysis of all kind (Application, Qualification and Customer Returns). Work with manufacturing testers like Advantest to characterize wafers and packaged parts as well as bench testers like IMS and Agilent. QUALIFICATIONS: Engineer 2: MS + 1 year experience or BS + 6 years experience Senior Engineer: MS + 2 years experience or BS + 7 years experience Staff Engineer: MS + 5 years experience or BS + 10 years experience
