Process Engineer, Qimonda North America
Education Requirements or Equivalency: - BS degree in an Engineering discipline Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements: - Minimum of 2+ years in Semiconductor industry with Equipment Engineering Job Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance. - Process owner for specific tools in the area - Support area of responsibility by appropriately dispositioning products, exhibit effective decision making skills on the recovery of products and professionally interact with other areas on related problem lots. - Support area process engineering by working with tool owners on process improvements and capability studies. - Effectively communicate and interact with all related personnel including - manufacturing, equipment and vendor - Provide accurate, complete passdowns of all sustaining issues. - Support high volume manufacturing requirements by optimizing recipes, qualifying new tools and processes, and assuring that the required tool group capacity is in place - Conduct well designed experiments to optimize device performance and yield of new generation products in cooperation with Technology Transfer group - Implement SPC and SMC for process/tool control - Help train and mentor new process sustainers
