Equipment Engineer Department 200mm and 300mm Equipment Engineering Operations (Various Positions) Location Richmond, VA Percent Travel Required Supervisory No FLSA Status Exempt Job Description Education Requirements or Equivalency: � BS degree in an Engineering discipline Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements: � Minimum of 2+ years in Semiconductor industry with Equipment Engineering Job Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance. � Trouble shoot and maintain the tool set in area � Write and update tool specifications as needed. � Assist other Equipment Engineers with tool upgrades. � Maintain complete records in area of all scheduled maintenance events. � Attend all required departmental training. � Monitor and improve equipment reliability, availability, throughput, and cost of ownership � Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications. � Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems. Define and implement solutions. � Create operation manuals/documents for maintenance procedures and specifications. � Act as a resource to build the knowledge the equipment maintenance team. � Order and modify consumable and spare parts. Identify and evaluate second source parts suppliers. � Lead and/or facilitate cross-functional work teams and meetings. � Demonstrate a strong, self-motivated work ethic � Represent Qimonda in dealings with equipment vendors
