Account Technologist IV, Applied Materials

Excellent organizational/interpersonal/communication skills. Presentation and sales/negotiation skills. Time-management, self-organization and documentation skills[e.g. Project management skills]. - B.S. level degree in a technical discipline [e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.], and M.S. level degree. Minimum of 8 years of previous process engineering experience with semiconductor capital equipment, or equivalent.
 
Job Specific Knowledge & Experience: This position is in the Solar Business Group.

Responsibilities: Coordinates worldwide account process information. Manages agreed process roadmaps at customer sites, and presents technology and product roadmaps both internally and externally. Keeps in depth knowledge of process development roadmaps, COC roadmaps and strategies up-to-date. Identifies potential business in the process flows and initiates action plans to generate interest/customer awareness. Defines/approves process support plans for installation and warranty periods depending on product and process maturity. Determines and implements process CIP for assigned installed base. Supports local IBSS resources during installation and warranty as required to achieve CPS and/or best known process performance. Trains local IBSS resources to obtain and maintain required process knowledge to support installed base. Responsible for installation and [product] qualification of new processes and technologies. Executes process sites. Keeps detailed knowledge of installed process performance in assigned technological area up-to-date. Keeps up-to-date knowledge of competitive process performance. Develops customized processes [with customer and IBSS]. Arranges regular customer process user meeting to drive installed process CIP. Requires state of the art device/process technology knowledge as related to the assigned technology and its peripherals including future requirements and trends. Publishes technology and process related papers, internal and external. Ensures that system quotes reflect the AMAT-BKM-Hardware and offers pre-release parts to build/ship state of the are equipment.
