Senior Designer/Imaging Scientist , ASML
Within ASML the Development & Engineering sector is responsible for the specification and development of ASML products. The Measurement Systems Development department develops:
1/ advanced measuring systems which are used to the measure wafer, mask and litho image coordinates in all degrees of freedom and to calibrate the positioning systems that are applied in ASML machines.
2/ applications that support the performance of ASML machines in the areas of overlay, focus control and image quality
The Sr. Designer will be located in the D&E Applications Group at ACE and allocated to a D&E project that is active in area 2/
Job Description
As a D&E project team member a Sr. Designer is responsible for the following project deliverables:
Application Products Specification:
Develop understanding of future overlay, focus and image sensing application requirements through Joint Development Projects with customers
Support specification and assist in the development of application-related overlay, focus and image sensing products in cooperation with D&E Veldhoven and D&E Wilton product teams
Drive negotiations with customer and product teams on Customer Specific Requests (CSR) and support the execution of CSRs on site.
Application Products Qualification:
Drive execution of qualification of new applications for production in cooperation with the customer
Function as the accepted and acknowledged technical interface between ASML D&E and the customer
Be the local technical support of local and regional Customer Support organization
Contribute to competence development and application roadmapping within the D&E Applications Group
Educational Level
Master Degree / PhD. in Engineering or Physics.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional working experience preferably within the development section of a semiconductor equipment or manufacturing company
- Must have experience in working in large, cross-cultural organizations. Relevant working experience in a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Experience with Microsof Office package is required (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project and Powerpoint)
