Senior Solar Market Research Analyst, MEMC

The Solar Marketing Analyst is responsible for overseeing the Product Plan process for new business opportunities/revenues. This position also requires a working knowledge of emerging product opportunities.

Essential Outcomes
· To drive Solar Marketing’s Product Plan process that includes, but not limited to:
· Expediting product plans throughout the process, from Sales forecasts through One Stop Shop’s capability and costing to Cost Analysis and finally the Approval Loop.
· Auditing product plans for clarity and thoroughness.
· Ensuring plant compliance with stated yield and cost commitments.
· Ensuring product plan pricing compliance with product marketing and pricing managers.
· To develop a level of coordination between upstream and downstream areas, ensuring correct information through an effective process flow.
· To coordinate a timely response from research and development for new platform process of record.
· To monitor day-to-day operations and trouble shooting support of the Material Master 3 database.
· To analyze emerging product opportunities via marketplace research and analyses. May also include interfacing and coordinating with Market Research to obtain and share like research.
· To assist with performance monitoring of the MM 3 database and identify necessary maintenance and upgrades.

· Must be able to develop a strong working relationship with other areas i.e. marketing, sales, manufacturing, research and development, information technology, market research, including all levels of the organization.
· Must be the owner of day-to-day operations of the Material Master 3 database.
· Must have good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
· Must be pro-active and a self-starter.
· Must pay rigorous attention to detail, meticulous and accurate.
· Must have knowledge and ability to identify and analyze market opportunities.
· Must be able to address new situations and handle multiple tasks.
· Must act as an advisor to information technology to resolve technical problems.
· Good customer and technical communication skills are required.

Education Experience
Degree: Bachelors Degree preferred Years: 2 - 5 years
Field: Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field
Field: Solar Manufacturing or related field
