Assistant Treasurer, MEMC
Assists Treasurer in managing the corporate finance, pension and insurance functions on a worldwide basis. Responsible for monitoring global debt and financial obligations. Participates in any capital market related activity. Provides analytical support in helping manage the pension plans. Helps place & administer multiple global insurance programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides analytical support in all corporate finance & pension issues.
2. Prepares monthly reporting on debt worldwide. Runs ad-hoc projects on capital market related issues.
3. Supports Treasurer in any capital market related initiative.
4. Prepares quarterly reports on the pension plans to be used by the Investment Committee.
5. Supports Treasurer in placing and administering the global property insurance, D&O, Casualty programs. Manages day-to-day activities associated with these programs.
6. Participates in and provides other support, reports and analyses as requested.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
BS, Finance or Accounting, MBA, CFA, CTP/CCM is desired
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
1. Minimum of 10 years in finance, 3 of which has been in treasury.
2. Experience in capital markets, M&A, loan syndication, debt ratings and bank relationship management.
3. Experience in helping manage defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
4. Experience in insurance and corporate risk management.
5. Strong Excel modeling skills.
PREFERENCES FOR THE JOB:
1. Experience working in a multinational environment.
2. Experience with cash management & FX hedging.
