Sr Analog Design Engineer, AMI Semiconductor
Your challenge is to design systems on chip for our future medical products. You analyze and drive the high level specification and concepts of our customers towards the optimal implementation of a mixed signal solution on silicon. You are a leader in the development team. You work with state of the art CAD tools and technologies for analog mixed signal design. During an evaluation phase you strive to guarantee that the product meets the quality requirements of the industry in a cross-functional team with your colleagues in production, test, marketing and the customer. You own the design from concept to reality.
Position Requirements:
A qualified candidate will have an MS or BS preferably in electrical or electromechanical engineering with a minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience including:
1. Low noise and low power CMOS analog/mixed-signal design concepts.
2. Component, circuit, and die level layout strategies for maximum performance and yield.
3. Layout verification concepts.
4. Process design kit installation and maintenance.
5. Analog/mixed-signal design for test concepts, automated and bench test.
6. I/O design including ESD and EMC hardening strategies.
7. Semiconductor device physics.
8. Strong project management and team leadership skills.
9. Cadence tools, Matlab or MathCAD, AHDL coding, and Unix -Linux OS.
