WW IT Manufacturing Systems Manager, AMI Semiconductor

This position will manage the IT teams based in three major sites in Asia, North America and Europe.

The candidate should be an experienced manager with the ability to manage a diverse technical team that provides 7x24x365 support, a strong background in managing a global team and IT related projects and has extensive experience application systems, preferably manufacturing or ERP systems.

The candidate will be expected to manage all aspects of the current MES team. In addition, develop service level metrics for service delivery, problem escalation, problem resolution processes and performance monitoring. Ensures all functions and processes are implemented and operate properly.

Responsibilities:
- Own and manage implementations and ongoing support through analysis, design, and configuration management of Promis, Workstream and related systems.
- Work directly with end-users (Fab, Backend, BU�s and other functional teams) and IT teams to identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues related to the manufacturing systems.
- Ensure all system issues are logged, prioritized and tracked through the resolution stage while escalating critical issues to management.
- Flexibility and be on call for urgent issues.
- Develop and maintain metrics associated with systems processes and procedures.
- Manages all aspects of current MES staff, including development of individual performance metrics and administration performance reviews. Ensure that all staff members receive adequate technical and interpersonal training.
- Oversee the management of MES issues including incident definition, tracking, escalation, resolution and closure. Monitor incidents to ensure prompt, efficient response and resolution by the support analysts.
- Measure and report on team performance, ensuring all service level agreements are met and objectives are met.
- Ensures on-call support during off-hours via telephone, and/or on site coverage as required.
- Participates in budget preparation and maintains budget control.
- Participates and/or manages various local and global projects as required.
- Recommend, document and implement processes to improve the operation of the team and ensure superior customer service to our internal clients.
- Formulate policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Manage assigned projects ensuring on-time and on-budget results.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor�s degree in information technology, engineering or business course.
- Minimum of 10 years IT experience, at least 5 years of which is in managing an application support team preferably in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment.
- A strong background in customer support in highly automated manufacturing environments is required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or ERP systems preferred. Experience with SAP, Promis and/or Workstream an advantage.
