Semiconductor Photo Line Maintenance Technician, AMI Semiconductor

Perform general and specific, preventative and corrective maintenance activities on semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Requires the use of diagnostic equipment and procedures to diagnose and repair production equipment. Majority of work is conducted in a clean room environment requiring the wearing of specific clean room clothing over regular clothing.
1. Maintain wafer-processing equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
2. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
3. Participate as part of a team in identifying and solving problems.
4. Utilize Promis, SPC, and VAX for equipment problem solving and general documentation of work performed.
5. Follow prescribed procedures for safety, clean room and documentation.
6. Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, writing specification/procedures, performing projects and other tasks as assigned by the manager and/or team.

Position Requirements:
1. AA/ST/AAS degree or Certificate of Completion in Electronics or equivalent experience.
2. Ability to comprehend and solve basic electronics and mathematics problems as demonstrated by performance on written examination.
3. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal format.
4. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be self-motivated and able to interface effectively with other groups.
5. Must be able to certify to respirator, SCBA and Hazardous Materials handling.
6. Must effectively demonstrate initiative and be capable of follow through on long technical problems or improvement projects.
7. Desired experience in either of the following semiconductor functional areas and/or toolsets.
