ASML is seeking an accomplished Quality Manager to join the Operations and Manufacturing Department in Wilton, CT. This sector fabricates and polishes precision optics using a variety of equipment and verifies accuracy of finished products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Measures physical dimensions of unprocessed glass blanks for diameter thickness, parallelism etc
- Supports QA policies and procedures
- Designs and maintains material quality processes and instructions
- Ensures adequate organization and staffing of volume production
- Ensures proper execution of HRM policies and procedures
- Organizes effectively and efficient information/communication processes
- Ensures adequate reporting
- Designs and maintains quality standards for manufacturing (Key figures specs, methods, workmanship standards, etc)
- Ensures the organization of controlling of quality records of ASML production processes and products manufactured and purchased by ASML
- Supports the Factory Acceptance Test process by reporting qualification results of the products and explains technical issues to customers
- Ensures proper quality of status reporting and good communication to customer support
- Checks and reports quality of production deliverables
- Analyzes quality problems, initiates improvements, and monitors execution of corrective actions
- Manages technicians, engineers, and documentation support personnel to assure a smooth flow of work through inspection
- Oversees development test processes and procedures to analyze field returned defective parts for root cause
- Assures production control functions are completed and adhered to by quality personnel
- Analyzes defective optics and/or assemblies for failure modes to determine root cause and corrective action
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Chemistry or related academic work
- Extensive quality control experience required
- Supervisory experience required
- Knowledge and experience with technical project management
- Must have good problem-solving abilities, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to think analytically
