Software Design Engineer, ASML

ASML is seeking an accomplished Software Design Engineer to join the Development and Engineering Department in Wilton, CT. Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification and development of ASML products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for writing software design specification documents, test specification documents, coding, testing and integration of software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Specifies, designs, develops, realizes, and tests subsystems within the limits of system specifications, costs and project planning
- Cooperates with other disciplines and suppliers to ensure the timely realization of competitive, achievable and serviceable products, including product information documentation
- Participates in the definition of system specifications
- Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, in making adaptations and modifications in solving technical problems
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Software Engineering
- Experienced in software development in an engineering (electro-mechanical) field
- Experience working with embedded software
- Real time operating systems knowledge
- Experience working with operating systems such as VxWorks, pSos, Vertex, Sun Solaris or Unix, Clearcase, and UML a plus
- Ability to travel required
