Senior Production Engineer, ASML

Join ASML, the world leader in the manufacturing of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry. Headquartered in the Netherlands, ASML offers an integrated portfolio of lithography systems used by customers to facilitate complex integrated circuits. ASML is seeking an accomplished Sr. Production Engineer to join the Optics Team within the Manufacturing sector in Wilton, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

- Defines and creates manufacturing procedures and specifications
- Supports manufacturing to ensure highest product quality, short lead-times and 'short time-to-market' by continuous improvement of new and existing products and processes
- Introduces new products into production in an existing concurrent engineering environment
- Defines and supervises the creation and design of production tooling
- Generates Process Flow Diagrams, BOM tree structures, and technical work instructions
- Writes technical reports in support of product generation
- Supports in-production issues by assisting production assembly and test technicians with concise troubleshooting of the system and sub systems
- Evaluates and dispositions failed parts with proposed solutions
- Reviews failure analysis reports from suppliers and help validate the root-cause of the failure.
- Assists in the development and realization of designs and re-designs as part of an on-going cost reduction effort utilizing sound engineering principles and cost analysis
- Supports tolerance studies and makes recommendations for design for manufacturing and assembly to product engineering groups

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- MS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Optics, or equiv.
- 10 years or more experience in an Engineering environment
- Production experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Unigraphics a plus
- Experience in Quality Systems and Industrial Engineering methods
- Hands on experience with Machine Shop Procedures and Practices
- Understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics transactions
- 5 years' demonstrated Program Management experience
- Supervisory experience of indirect reports in a team environment
