Senior System Design Engineer, ASML

ASML is seeking an accomplished Senior Systems Design Engineer to join the Sensors and Photonics Group of the Development & Engineering Department in Wilton, CT.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plays a role in the design and development of modules and sub-systems for ASML's state-of-the-art lithography tools
- Responsible for the specification, design, and analysis of optical sensors & systems and associated test equipment
- Works with designers from supporting engineering disciplines and outside co-developers in the design of complex, multi-discipline electro-optical systems
- Undertakes a variety of tasks including state-of-the-art design, product upgrades, as well as factory & field support
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Optics, or EE plus 3-5 years experience or a MS in Physics, Optics, EE plus 5-7 years experience required
- Minimum 5 years experience in Physical & Geometrical Optics Theory & Design
- Experience in design, development, and troubleshooting of complex optical and electro-optical modules required
- Ability to specify and allocate optical and electro-optical system performance requirements
- Architectural design of electro-optical modules
- Demonstrated 'team player' with a quality orientation
- Ability to occasionally travel and conduct business internationally
