Job Responsibilities: Finds and negotiates technical solutions, develops requirements, and establishes error budgets - Interfaces with internal and external customers to define customer technical objectives and negotiates best solutions - Generates performance and design requirements specifications and creates error budgets based on internal and external customer requirements - Balances the technical requirements between engineering disciplines and manufacturability to achieve performance and cost goals - Interfaces with multidisciplinary teams including Optical Design, Opto-Mechanical, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Production Engineering - Defines performance test specifications to confirm modules meet performance requirements and coordinates module testing and problem resolution Minimum Qualifications: 7 to 10 years' experience demonstrating the ability to manage system engineering tasks, particularly precision mechatronic, optical or metrology system development - Broad knowledge of requirements definition, error budgets, performance specifications, and system testing is required - Advanced degree in a related engineering field or physics is strongly desired with a minimum requirement of an MS degree in one of those fields - Leadership abilities in the form of being able to teach system engineering to others in D&E ASML offers excellent salaries, world-class benefits, and unparalleled opportunities for development - all to create an invigorating and satisfying environment.
